POA Board News

Farewell to Board member Jim Ruffing who recently resigned to pursue a new career. Thanks for everything!

Helicopter for Medical Emergency

IF you missed it on the front page, please check out the newly available helicopter service for medical emergencies in Village West. This service can be yours for only $10 a year for an entire family! Hard to believe, but because we are members of the Hill Country Neighborhood Coalition (HCNC) we get a 'corporate' rate. See the home page or follow this link for more info.   AirLIFE.

POA Annual Dues Bill

The bill for annual dues has been mailed out. If you haven't received yours then please contact Ronnie at 899-2393. The amount, as always, is scheduled to be $24. No additional assessment is scheduled for this year. This year's bill is requesting you to include your email address. This information will NOT be given to any other organization and is to be used solely for keeping you up to date on the happenings of your POA. Please help us do that. In addition you will find an insert asking for help on your POA board. Most members there currently have served from 3 to 10 years. We need a fresh infusion of ideas! Come join us at our next meeting. We meet every second Tuesday of the month

Congratulations to Our Canyon Lake Fire Department!!

Measuring features such as paid or volunteer department, training, education, command leadership, water supply and equipment, the Insurance Service Office (ISO) has upgraded the Canyon Lake Area Fire District to a Class 4 from the previous Class 8.

Outstanding -- This is a remarkable achievement! (Downtown San Antonio is a Class 3).

Everyone should contact your household insurance company and make sure they have this latest change on file for your homeowners insurance. This could mean big savings on your premiums!

Scheduled opening for new firehouse on Island View is now January

National Night Out is Currently Scheduled for October 5th of this year, stay tuned for more information!
